How to delete tabs in Open Office if you did not use styles and formatting to indent your paragraphs.

The Smashwords Style Guide is awesome for formatting your ebooks, but it does not tell you how to delete tabs if you use Open Office; it only tells you how to delete tabs using Microsoft Word. So what do you do when you've written your book and you've used tabs instead of styles and formatting to indent your paragraphs, using Open Office.

1. Hold down the CTRL key and press F. This opens the Find & Replace box (see below).

2. Inside the Find & Replace box, select More Options. After selecting More Options, check the box that says Regular Expressions (see below).

3. In the Search for field, insert \t and leave the Replace with field blank (see below).

4. Now press Replace All, and the tabs should now be gone (see below).
